1. How do we load our data into the toolkit? [more]
- You don't, we do it for you, so the toolkit is loaded with your data when it is installed

2. How can we add/delete pupils and change results? [more]
- The DATA section of the main menu (which has its own password) provides facilities to enter or edit data either directly into the toolkit or via 'Data capture sheets' - these are external spreadsheets which can be given to teachers to complete and then imported directly into the toolkit

3. How does the toolkit get updated? [more]
- We update the toolkit annually with the latest National and school data
- We also incorporate any changes which the DCSF introduces
- We make continuous improvements to the toolkit facilities in the light of feedback from users and these improvements are available free of charge to subscribers

4. Can it be used on a network? [more]
- Yes, the toolkit needs to be installed on the network with read/write privileges: only one user at a time can use the write facilities but multiple users can interrogate the data and print out results

5. Can senior staff use it at home [more]
- Yes, you can run the toolkit directly from a USB stick on any computer which has Excel for Windows installed
- Your subscription allows multiple copies of the toolkit to be created

6. What subjects can it track? [more]
- All the core and foundation subjects

7. What is Standard Progress? [more]
- For KS1 to KS2 this is two levels or 12 points; for entry to Reception to KS1 we convert FSP points, P scales and NC levels all to NC points and measure progress in NC points. If you would like to download a fuller explanation, click here.

8. Do you provide training? [more]
- Yes, we provide free induction training when we install the toolkit and further training as required. At present, no charge is made for this further training but this may change in future.
