Twelve ways in which the Primary Progress Toolkit can support school management

9. Review your school’s progress in KS1 to KS2 conversions

1 The table shows the number of pupils attaining each KS1 level, the number of pupils absent for the KS2 test, and the percentage who achieved Level 4+ and Level 5 in English, mathematics and science.
2 The ‘Compare’ button at the top of the screen lets you look at your school’s performance against the corresponding national results. It also provides comparisons within your school. For example, you can compare a single class against the whole year, or the results for the pupils in a particular group against those pupils not in the group.
3 You can also use the ‘GROUP’ button in the left-hand panel to display these calculations for only certain pupils, for example, boys or those pupils who entered at Year 2 or earlier, so took their KS1 tests at your school.

4 Immediately below, a second button, ‘Pupil results in detail’, switches to a separate display screen that shows the KS1 and KS2 levels in English, mathematics and science obtained by each individual pupil.
