This worksheet gives you a very flexible tool for creating lists and reports. There are four types of built-in (prepared) reports and a fully flexible tool for creating your own reports, using any of the variables stored in the toolkit:
‘Year/Class
list’ is a simple tool for creating class lists.
Selecting this option produces this pop-up, from which you can select any
of the columns of pupil details and add blank columns as well. This list
can then be saved as an Excel worksheet ready for use.

Selecting ‘Standard
Progress’ produces a list of pupil
test results for the selected year/class together with the calculated Standard
Progress level. This list can be modified in various ways to give you a
powerful management tool. The ‘Group’ and ‘Query’ buttons
allow you to select only pupils who meet your selected criteria. You can
also sort the lists in various ways and highlight results that are above,
equal to or below standard progress.
This is a Standard Progress report, using Group to extract Bangladeshi
pupils and highlighting those who are above, equal to or below Standard
Progress.
Selecting ‘Subject
Progress’ and then a particular subject,
produces a list of all TA levels and test levels and marks from KS1 up
to the current year. The ‘Group’ and ‘Query’ buttons
allow you to select only pupils who meet your selected criteria. You can
also sort the lists in various ways.
This is part of a subject progress report for Reading, using ‘ Group’ to extract boys’ results and a query to extract boys whose KS1 Reading results were below 2B.

Selecting ‘KS2
Targets and Forecasts’ produces a list of
pupil KS2 targets and forecasts (if these have been set). Again you can
use the ‘Group’ and ‘Query’ buttons to select only
pupils who meet your selected criteria. You can also sort the lists in
various ways and highlight results that are above, equal to or below Standard
Progress.
This is a KS2 targets and forecasts report, using Group to extract girls who are eligible for FSM and a query to extract pupils whose English targets are borderline level 4 (ie 4C and 3A), and highlighting those whose forecasts are above, equal to or below Standard Progress.

All reports
can be printed or saved, using the buttons in the toolkit panel at the
left-hand edge of the window. The Save option copies the report to a separate
Excel file, which you can then save as an Excel workbook.
