Twelve ways in which the Primary Progress Toolkit can support school management

8. Compare your school’s attainment with national results

This worksheet gives you access to the following key information to help you to analyse your school’s KS1 and KS2 results with the national results for all schools:

1 You can choose to compare the percentage of pupils achieving level 2 (KS1) or Level 4 (KS2) and above, the percentage of pupils achieving each level, and the trends over the last five years for percentages achieving level 2+/4+ and Average Points Scores. An ‘Attainment’ table, showing KS1/KS2 APS for different pupil groups is also available.

2You can choose to highlight the differences between your school’s results and the national results (using different colours).
The ‘Trends’ tables let you select the results for ‘all pupils’, ‘boys’ or ‘girls’.
