Twelve ways in which the Primary Progress Toolkit can support school management

11. Compare school’s results with other (local) schools

1 Data from the annual primary performance tables, which can be viewed all together (all results) or by various selected categories (type, size and absence; SEN; KS2 test results; KS2 Aggregate Level 4+; KS2 APS and Value Added)
2 A facility to sort the table in numerous ways, depending on the category of result chosen eg if KS2 Aggregate Level 4+ is selected, you can sort by any of the past four years or by the change in aggregate over the past year or four years.
3 A facility to compare your school results with another school, which you select, or to compare all schools with the quartiles (top 25%, middle 50%, bottom 25%) calculated from your particular selection of schools.

Part of the table, showing KS2 Level 4+ aggregate scores, sorted on ‘Change 02-05’ and highlighted to compare schools with the quartiles (top 25%, middle 50%, bottom 25%).
