Twelve ways in which the Primary Progress Toolkit can support school management

6. Compare KS2 targets/forecasts/results

This worksheet gives you access to the following key information to help you to analyse KS2 results for the selected year group:

1 Targets, forecasts (including Fischer estimates, if available) and results for all pupils in the group.
2 The percentage of pupils who achieved Level 4+ and Level 5 in the KS2 results, compared with the target and forecast percentages.
3 A facility to highlight the results in various ways (eg results against targets) to make comparisons easier. For instance, selecting ‘target borderline 3A/4C’ will show, for each pupil, whose results match this criterion.
4 A facility to sort the list in various ways: for instance, sorting by ‘English – Result’ will bring all the Level 5 English scores to the top; sorting by ‘English – Result/forecast’ will bring to the top all those who have exceeded their forecasts, whatever level they have achieved.
